Who we are

Notary Practice Tests operates this site. If you have questions about these terms, contact us at contact@notarypracticetests.com.

What this service is, and is not

Notary Practice Tests provides online practice questions, explanations, and study guides for people preparing for notary public examinations in the United States.

We are not a notary education provider. We do not offer state-approved courses, and using the site does not satisfy any education requirement a state imposes. If your state requires an approved course before the exam, you must complete it with an approved vendor separately.

We are not affiliated with any government agency, exam provider, or notary association, and we do not guarantee that you will pass. Exam content, format, and passing standards are set by the state and its testing contractors.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use the site. It is intended for adults preparing for a notary commission.

Permitted use

You may use the site for your own study and practice. Do not misrepresent its questions as official, as taken from a real exam, or as verified by any government agency. Do not copy the question banks in bulk, resell or redistribute them, scrape the site, attempt to access another user’s data, or interfere with the service.

Free and paid plans

A free plan offers 10 practice questions per state. Paid access, at $19.90 per state for one year, unlocks all 400 questions and timed forms for the purchased state. Until purchasing opens for a state, nothing can be bought for it.

Billing and expiration

The purchase is a one-time payment for one year of access to the selected state. It does not renew automatically, so there is no subscription to cancel. You are charged only when you complete checkout.

Access to the purchased state lasts one year from the purchase date and then ends automatically. The free questions stay available. To continue, you can make a new one-time purchase at the price shown then. A later price change does not shorten an access period you already paid for.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, whose own terms apply to the transaction. We do not receive or store your full card number. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

Practice-content limits

Practice questions are study material and are not legal advice. Verify substantive information in the current official sources before relying on any explanation. Scores are practice feedback and do not predict an exam result.

No official relationship or professional advice

Notary Practice Tests is independent of government agencies and exam providers. It provides no legal services, notarial services, official certification, or assurance that you will pass an exam or be commissioned.

Accounts and security

No account is required to practice. If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential and do not share your password. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not submit confidential client documents through this website.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, and original practice questions belong to Notary Practice Tests. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use them for your own exam preparation. That license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the question banks.

Official handbooks, statutes, and rules that we cite belong to their respective publishers and are linked rather than reproduced. We do not claim ownership of statutory text.

Third-party services and links

The site links to third-party websites, such as state agencies, approved education vendors, and exam registration portals, for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. The providers that host the site, authenticate accounts, and, if offered, process payments are subject to their own terms in addition to these.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable, so keep any study notes you need separately. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Notary Practice Tests is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content, including the outcome of any exam or application. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Your responsibility

You agree to defend and hold Notary Practice Tests harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees that arise from your violation of these terms, your violation of the law, or content you submit through the site, to the extent the law allows.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using the site at any time and delete your account from the Account page. Any refund remains governed by the Refund Policy and applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory local law.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version date at the top shows the latest revision and, where practicable, we will tell account holders about material changes by email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Severability and entire agreement

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the extent permitted and the rest will stay in effect. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Notary Practice Tests about the site and replace any earlier understanding on the same subject.
