What you get with full access.

What is free, in full.

Every state below has 10 free practice questions right now, with explanations and official source references. California, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and North Carolina are all available.

About the fees on your state’s page.

Separate from this site, becoming a notary usually means paying the state and approved providers: an application or commission fee, an exam fee, possibly a required course, a bond, and supplies such as a seal and journal. Each state guide links to the official page for current amounts.

Pricing questions

Good to know.

More about what is free, what is paid, and when.

Is there really a free plan?

Yes. The free plan gives you 10 practice questions in every state, with explanations and a source reference on each one. No signup and no card are needed.

What does the paid plan add?

Full access unlocks all 400 questions and the timed practice forms for the state you purchase. It is $19.90 per state for one year.

How do I buy?

Finish the free sample for your state and choose Unlock on the results page, or use the buttons on this page. You sign in with an email and password so the purchase is attached to your account, then pay at a secure checkout. If purchasing is not open yet, the button says so and nothing is charged.

Will I be charged automatically?

No. It is a one-time payment for one year of access to the selected state. It does not renew automatically.

Does one purchase cover every state?

No. Each purchase covers one state. If you are preparing for more than one state, you would buy each separately. Notary rules differ by state, so questions, forms and progress are kept apart.

What happens when the year ends?

Access to the full question bank for that state ends. The free questions stay available. If you want another year, you can make a new one-time purchase at the price shown then.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The available methods are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, and we do not receive or store your full card number.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See the refund policy for details.

Are these official exam questions?

No. They are original practice questions written from official materials. No practice site can promise the same questions as the real exam or guarantee a passing score.
